Club Voltaire was founded in 1995 by a business idea of Alberto and Cristina Melani, who – through a long experience in manufacturing women’s clothing – created the Company in Pistoia. The Company has always lived as a laboratory of ideas and projects. Since the beginning of ‘900 the Melani family had an atelier in Pistoia, but it is on 1954 that Maria Melani (mother of the present owner) transformed his tailoring mark’s activity in a firm of larger dimensions, with the “Melania” brand. Are the ‘dolce vita’ times and the legendary sixties, and a lot of protagonists of ‘Via Veneto’ and ‘Via Tornabuoni’, of ‘Rive Gauche’ and ‘New Bond Street’ dress “Melania” items.
